Penny Cate
After hangin out in the hospital for about 44 hours, Penelope Caitlyn finally arrived via c-section on June 30th at 3:40 pm. She was 7 lbs 12 oz, and absolutely perfect.
We are totally in love and recovering nicely. More photos and a birth story to come, but for now we need some rest. Hope these will keep you occupied!

Oh, she’s a doll baby. Sweet shot of your face as you look at her. I can’t believe all you went through . . . so wanting to hear the birth story! She is beat-up looking but oh so adorable. Rest & heal – have everyone wait on you and and foot.

Priscilla, she is a DOLL! What a precious precious gift. I see in one shot your glasses are off and the next they are on. I can imagine you were like “Awh, my princess. Wait, get my glasses, I can’t really see her! Oh yeah, she IS gorgeous!!” 
Congrats!! Can’t wait to hear more.

the “long” is the size of the band in reference to circumference of upper arm…in that respect it was too long. Either that or it was an ill omen for labor.

Oh, what a journey she had to get here! I’m so glad you and she are safe and healthy and I look foward to seeing you guys as soon as you’re up for visitors

Oh, Priscilla, she’s BEAUTIFUL. I love you guys so much, and I can’t wait to hear more about the whole experience, and I REALLY can’t wait to meet that sweet baby in person. Give her squeezes and hugs for me, please!

beautiful! what a huge journey! i just told david “my friend had a 44-hour labor that ended with a section” and he goes “WHOA! THAT’S NOT FAIR!” haha! we both feel bad that it was such a rough ride – my labor was 30 hours so i’ve been there… kind of!
thrilled for you on your beautiful penny. she is a dream. can’t wait to hear more about your early days as a new mama. much love to you guys!
