I can say that on behalf of her. I made those everytime I had her over the last couple years. I remember sitting at your grammie's table until I was 8 - but it was for christmas, though the menu sounds quite similar. My Grandpa Newton always came from Meriden to New Hartford to be at our house for Thanksgiving - I am guessing it had something to do with my father needing to prep for sunday service. And perhaps so Mom could host him. Hmmm - I think my favorite has to be the potatoes and gravy, but then there is turkey and gravy, stuffing and gravy....so perhaps it is the gravy.
