Every year, I start drooling with glee when I pull my all-time favorite ornament out of the Christmas decorations Tupperware. When I was a baby, a lady that my parents knew made this felt kitty for me. When it started to age past year twenty, Mom would beg that I put the kitty towards the back of the tree to make room for some of the classier ornaments. But I would hear nothing of it.
So as you can imagine, this year it’s sitting front and center on our tree. I ought to find that lady and send her a thank you note for all of the comforting holiday memories this one ornament brings back to me year after year. And maybe see if she could make me a whole set of felt animals for my entire tree!

does this really have a “P” on the back of it? so all of these years i’ve just been coveting it as mine?
she does look lovely snuggled in the branches …

there is definitely a P on the back. don’t you have the ugly santa?
